Death by Bikini by Linda Gerber was cute read. Aphra lives on an island in the Pacific where it’s always warm and sunny, and she has a job at her dad’s resort. It’s Aphra’s heaven… until the Smith’s come. When they get there, without a reservation, and Mr. Smith speaks with her dad, Aphra becomes extremely suspicious. Her father starts acting weird, and not to mention how weird it was for him to place the family in a condo that’s under renovation. The young, handsome boy though, Adam, is intriguing to Aphra but he seems to be hiding something. It becomes even more apparent the family is hiding something when a girl winds up dead on the beach, with her bikini strings tied around her neck, and Aphra sees Mr. Smith is at the scene of the crime. What are the Smith’s hiding? And why did they come to this island in the first place? Aphra needs to find an answer, but what she finds out has put her at definite risk…
A good mystery that has a totally backward ending. You would never guess what this family has to hide.
